For the Faustmann family business, hats represent both tradition and the future, in all their diversity as an expression of lifestyle and personality.
Founded in 1973 in the Allgäu region, the company is now run by the second generation and offers a wide range of products in product lines such as casual, alpine, fashion, outdoor and hunting. The majority of the collection is designed in the company's own studio and produced in Europe to meet the needs of male and female hat and cap enthusiasts. The traditional company focusses on modern requirements such as function, UV protection and, of course, quality. Faustmann stands for "Made in Germany" and sells successfully in 35 countries worldwide. At home in the beautiful Allgäu region, traditional hats are still made by hand using traditional methods and customised with cords and ribbons.
The company is currently managed by Markus Faustmann, the son of founder Gunther Faustmann. Today's company philosophy reflects a great mix of service, quality and trends, but also humanity, which makes wearing Faustmann hats and caps an experience ... true to the motto: "hats for life".

Temperature-regulating & breathable
The tightly woven structure allows the body's own warmth to be retained where it is needed. Water vapour (e.g. perspiration) is absorbed and transported away in a targeted manner.
Water-repellent & wind-resistant
The natural wool grease "lanolin" ensures that loden and felt absorb water only poorly and thus remain pleasantly dry inside when it rains. The breathability allows moisture to be wicked away quickly.
Dirt-resistant & easy-care
The lanolin also makes it difficult for dirt to be absorbed by the fabric. This makes these fabrics ideal for outdoor clothing and accessories, especially in harsh conditions.

Our entire product range has been developed and constructed on the basis of these fabrics. This enables a high degree of flexibility and safety when selecting products for the hunting, outdoor, leisure and dog sectors.

Loden and felt from our company are made exclusively from pure new sheep's wool and are processed naturally. No camel hair or synthetic fibres are added.
